I had been fighting with air compressor issues for a few months now. Long story short, I needed more throughput, but didn't really have room for a big upright.

This popped up on my local CL late last week, and picked it up for $350.

It is an older unit, but looks to have been fairly well maintained. They used it for spray painting, so were pretty good about keeping it drained. It's pretty quiet and fills from empty in just over a minute. It has a 5hp Leeson motor and the pump itself is rated for continuous duty with 18cfm @175 psi.

I'm going to replace the oil and exterior power cords and put it to work. I'll have to run a larger circuit and put in a disconnect since it has a bigger draw than my old unit, but that is pretty simple.

That's a nice setup. Looks like a clone Chinook K30 pump (by RolAir) w/ a Leeson 3 or 5HP motor?

W/ a pilot valve on there (making it run continously), I'm guessing that pump had a hard life.

Be careful w/ that **** - the cord w/ the plug (it's "non-NEC" compliant)...lol ... guys on here will get on your case REAL FAST!!!

Sweet! That's already (x) years old and will probably last 20 years longer than buying a new one from HF.
