I took this pic when putting in my floor, but I realized how many outlets it shows. I want to FINISH this shop and get my tools moved in!

Man that looks awesome! I say you can never have too many outlets. I put in about 24 outlets on the inside of my 24x36 shop. I like the drops you put in for the main tools. Please post some more pics when you get the tools moved in.

Thanks. The room on the right in back will be a finish room and has a commercial Dayton fan on a switch.

In back on the left is another Dayton fan to clear the air when sanding. There will be a maple floor in tat same area(this weekend) for my workbench and lathes. It's raised with insulation under it to be a little easier for standing around. I also have a "kinda soundproof" closet for my big Oneida dust collector and IR air compressor.

When I build, I put in one wall receptacle every 6 feet and extra ones wherever I plan to put an appliance or powered stationary tool.

i put two 110 outlets every 8 feet along three walls and have one dual outlet on each side of the garage door also have 220 on all three walls and 110 and 220 outlets on the lift itself.nice job man. keep us posted.

Thanks guys. I spent the day today putting in the maple flooring in the back left corner. I'm beat...

I placed outlets every 2.5 feet on two of the garage walls in the 2 car garage and every 5 feet in the 1 car garage and i placed double duplex where i knew i would have a lot of tools plugged in all the time
i never need to worry about not finding an outlet

Nice, that looks like how I did my office, I put in outlets every 32". I plan to do the same in the garage both at 14" and 36".
