I wish I had pics, but here's the thing. There was an old guy at the Pomona Swap Meet that had the oldest Craftsman cantilever tool box I'd ever seen. It had a real old looking Craftsman nameplate, and a tubular handle that ran the entire length of the box and pivoted from side to side. It was in great shape and had the original tray. He wanted 90 bucks but was clearly flexible. Has anybody seen one of these before? ( It wasn't one of the great big ones, but more the size of the most basic Craftsman portables, maybe a little longer)

The guy was asking to much money in my opinion unless it was in excellent shape and you want that particular box. Did it have that art "decoish" look to it, I saw one that sounds like what you're talking about at an estate sale, the bottom was rusted but the rest of the box was real nice, they were asking $5 for it. Another deal is just around the corner (may be many corners).
