I bought this curtis compressor years ago cheap. The motor it had was 3 phase so I threw it away. I think I bought a motor from harbor freight(can't remember) but now it died. Attached is the only plates on the compressor. Any idea what size motor I need? Could go back to harbor freight but I think I might want on that might last. Thanks

based on this thread http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=98393 it sounds like a 2 or 3hp motor would be the right replacement. i base this on the 'c-50' preceding the serial number in your pics. curtis is still around and might be able to answer the question as to what is motor is correct (and what frame size) for that pump. i'd give them a call.
