I think my snap on tools are getting jealous...

because of this new obsession I have with vintage craftsman tools. I picked up this stuff this past weekend. a really clean craftsman tool box with original tray, craftsman flying v 1/2 ratchet with a 15 piece =v= series 1/2 drive socket set. 1/4 inch =v= series socket/ratchet set in original metal box, a v series 1/2 inch ratchet. proto 1/4 ratchet, williams superratchet 1/2. williams 3/8 b-52 ratchet. also picked up a set of snap on adjustable pliers and some usa blue point crimpers.

I bought the same exact box a couple of months ago and was planning on restoring it but now I guess I can pass it on to someone else. I love all the =v= series tools and the boxes from that era. I'm contemplating putting together a full set of these tools. someone tell me why I shouldn't or how I can keep my snap on tools happy. lol.

Don't worry, your Snappy's won't get jealous. They appreciate quality. Just don't put no Chicrap in there!!

Nice looking box and tools from an era this country should be proud of.

Really wish Sears would come out with a vintage limited edition line. Real chrome, quality all metal ratchets, etc.

I personally believe that at one time craftsman was very close to SO. Some of the well worn in craftsman ratchets my dad has are very nice. It is such a shame were craftsman has gone.

My vintage C-man live right next my Snappy ratchets, they seem to like each other, just use different ones from time to time!
