I thought I found a cool used tool shop

We were driving down a county road that we never go down, and I saw a sign that said "(owner's name) Tool Barn" (I changed the name to protect the owner of the place or to not cause embarrassment).

Under the sign, it said "tools and tool boxes". So I pulled into the place (weekday at 3pm). It was a garage next to a house, and the business sign with an "open" sign was on the garage. I thought: "oh cool, I might've found a honey pot for used quality tools."

Then an older lady poked her head out of the house and said "oh, _____, is not here. He will be back tomorrow."

So I asked, "do you know what kind of brands he sells, and if they are used or new?"

She then told me, proudly, "oh, no worries, all his stuff is brand new!" I then had visions of mounds of Harbor Freight stuff marked up 3x. I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask if I could go inside and check the shop out. Perhaps had my wife got out of the car, it would have been easier, but she was fixated on a smart phone game.

It would be fun to have a used tool store and carry all the quality tools and USA Craftsman. Especially if you could have it on your land to keep from spending money on rent, yet having strangers coming around would be creepy especially if you have thousands of dollars in product sitting there.

I will go back there one day soon and check the place out. I also asked about the tool boxes, and she says he hasn't had any tool boxes in years, so that's kinda strange.
