A number of years ago my roomate found his 69 chevelle sitting nicely on blocks after leaving it out of the garage one night.........about a year later he woke up in the middle of the night hearing some noise out front. He saw 2 guys in the back of his work truck as he is an hvac guy. Called 911 as we watched these guys throwing garden stuff onto a neighbours yard to make room for tools (stolen car as well). As the cops turned the corner coming up the street, these mental giants jumped into the car to make a getaway. They made it about 5 houses when they ran into the cops coming from the other end of road.........We had a good laugh as we watched these dickheads get busted.

I've been robbed 4 times a year for as long as I can remember. Same guys everytime. I know who it is and I can't do anything about it. Usually even if I agree to hand over all my money they come back on April 15th and ask for more. The worst part is that they take my money and throw it in my face by using it to bail out banks, expanding their gang and jacking with my already screwed up health insurance. They even have the audacity to tell me it is for my own good. Calling the cops is useless since they are funded by the gang.

Many years ago, before we were married, my wife, who was working nights, heard breaking glass one day in her apartment. She figured one of her cats had knocked something over. She wandered into the living room to see someone trying to crawl into the broken front window. He yelled 'Hey!' at him, and turned around to go grab her Sig .45 (that she used in shooting cometitions). When she returned, the window opening was empty. No scumbag burglar. He figured he'd ply his trade in an empty apartment elsewhere.

A few years later, her house was broken into and items stolen, including her .45 Sig, and a (real) Rolex watch. The items were recovered, and returned to her by an undercover Dade County Sheriff on an episode of 'Cops'. We have never seen the episode, but constantly have friends call her up and say 'we saw someone who looked a lot like you on the episode of 'Cops' we saw last night.'

After we were married, my wife drove her 95 9C1 Caprice to an art festival, leaving it parked in a 'guarded' lot all day. When she returned, she discovered the passenger door lock popped, the ignition and steering column collar broken, and, when the dumma$$es couldn't get the car to start, the lower half of the dash pried away so they could steal the (non-working, Bwahahahahahahah) DVD stereo. After filing a report with the rent-a-cop Constable on duty, my wife inserted a screw driver into the ignition, started the car and drove home. Those thieves really need to spend more time in crook school, so they can at least properly STEAL someone else's property!

The damage was more then the stereo, and almost more than what we paid for the car. Hopefully they took too long to steal their next vehicle and someone helped the human gene pool out a bit.

We replaced the gheto-stereo with a factory am-fm unit. Figured that would reduce the 'need' to be relieved of our car.

I do know for a fact that many of the farmers in the outlying areas firmly subscribe to the "Montana Plan"
1) Shoot
2) Shovel
3) Shut-up

Apparently the name is in reponse to the re-introduction of wolves into Yellowstone Park and the ranchers response.

a few years back a couple of morons were trying to steal my subs and amp as well as a guitar out of my bronco. they had loaded all but the sub box up but they had managed to ripped the bolts out of the floor. it was around 3am and i get woken up by a loud bang followed by someone yelling about their foot. the morons didnt think that my box may have been 2'' thick mdf, with a 16x36x3/4 steel plate bolted to the bottom. i actually used the weight to level off the bronco as the back sat higher than the front. the guys dropped it off the tailgate about 40'' to the ground onto their feet. one guy broke hit foot, the other guy actually lost 2 toes.

Now that, is justice in its rawest form. Serves the b@st@rds right!

"Hey Joe, howdja lose them toes again?" LOL

My buddy caught a guy trying to steal his radio - he snuck up on the guy and beat him senseless & then called the cops. When they got there - my buddy told him he found the ****** unconscious guy in his car. They chuckled, and took him away. My buddy never heard anything back.

I've been robbed a few times over the years. The first time I ever really took a hit was i had a brand new set of Mac 500 series toolboxes. I had them bolted together and they we slammed full. I came into work one morning at the MG dealership I was working at and my toolbox was pryed open and every tool was gone except a lone screwdriver. They had broke a panel out of the one of the doors and taken the stuff through the hole. there was no coverage to cover my loss. A very gut sinking feeling. The Mac man came by for an emergency tool sale. 1500 dollars worth of stuff in 1972 was what it took just to get back to work. painful hit. (in 1972 1500 dollars would by a new Ford pinto)

We had a new dog in our family one year at Chirstmas time, so as a test to see if the dog would mess with presents under the tree, I wrapped about 5 medium sized boxes with a can of pork&beans in them for weight. We got robed and they took all the presents. Just wish I could have seen the look on their faces when they unwrapped the beans.

When I was at college, I had a Beretta 9mm but had to keep it at my parents' house. It was hidden on top of an entertainment center in their bedroom. Only my family and a couple close friends knew where it was.

It disappeared sometime while I was away at school. Because of its location, I knew someone in the family or close to the family had taken it (nothing else was taken). That's a crappy feeling! You know someone you trust stole it but you have no way to know who it was.

I was staying at a motel in Raleigh NC when some idiot decided he was going to steal my motorcycle as I slept. He pushed the bike (95 Honda Goldwing) out to the road and went to make a mad dash across the intersection (850lbs of motorcycle) and he got out about 5 feet when it fell over to the right side (away from him) and a car slid into the bike and threw him and the bike about thirty feet. totalled my bike, he broke both arms and ankle and some ribs. My insurance paid me and he tried to sue my insurance as well as the person that hit him. He got Fu*ked up and 5 years. He kept trying to sue the person that hit him for years. Don't know whatever became of it.

The funniest thing that ever happened was I picked up a guy beside the road i thought was a friend of mine. Turned out he was someone who just looked like him. The guy pulled a knife on me (2 inch blade) and told me to take him to Aynor. I pulled my gun and gave him until I got to 55 to get out of my car (was doing 45) after some begging and knowing I was serious he exited at about 53. he survived the impact (I did get to the side so he would hit the grass). he tried for 5 years to sue me. He was in the hospital for about 3 weeks. I saw him out thumbing one night about a year later. I stopped to pick him up (differant vehicle) and as soon as he open the door he took off running. He tried to have me arrested. I laugh everytime I see that cat and that was back in 93.

I once met a girl from Aynor, or maybe it was Cope. Anyway, your incident was a classic case of someone bringing a knife to a gun fight.

When I was a youngster I used to date a girl that had an old pos 10 speed bike, it was her only transportation. She parked it one time and locked it up. When she came out the bike was where she left it but some body stole the lock and chain.

She was mad that they didn't think the bike was worth stealing.

Getting robbed living in Ontario

I received this from a friend who obviously wants to influence Ontario voters to throw out McGuinty. I was aware of these taxes but when summarized as below it sure is a nasty picture. I thought you might appreciate having this summary. I for one don't care or want to know how one votes. You might even be one who thinks all these tax increases are good tax policy.
Talk about being robbed!!!
Foss

Here is what our Premier has done for Ontario in the past seven years.
Remember...he had a no tax increase election message/campaign.
He has increased all the licensing fees from your car to your boat including fishing and hunting.
He introduced the health care premium (not called a tax) and some couples pay as much as $1,500.00 a year.
He doubled the price of most lottery tickets. (Not called a tax).
He has put an ECO tax on aerosol and paint cans, hand soap, light bulbs. window washer fluid - all in all about 5000 products - people still don't realize it until they see the bill - he kept that one real quiet. Even the Official Opposition were not aware of it's implemntation as of July 1 - same date as when the HST started. The public spoke on this one and it has now been rescinded
He put a disposal tax on all electronics.
He put the disposal tax back on tires
And now he has passed the HST tax - the largest tax on the province ever and the only other tax in Ontario, and, thousands of additional taxes on items you probably never heard of being taxed before!
He passed this bill even though 76% of the people in Ontario were against it. This HST will provide the Province with an additional THREE BILLION dollars a year.
Soon we will all have our S.M.A.R.T. meters that we will have to pay rent on and will end up doing our laundry in the middle of the night. We are also going to pay big time for air conditioning from now on because when we need it the most it will be in the prime time of usage.
Let us not forget the E-health scandal with 1.2 billion dollars wasted and paid out to friends and relatives.
What was Mr. McGuinty's answer to this? Well, if the people of Ontario don't like it, they can show it in the next election. Nice attitude. This after he fired the CEO and then gave her a severance package of $300,000 - not bad for only being on the job for seven months.
And what about the SEVEN BILLION DOLLARS windmill power plant contract that he awarded to KOREA ? One would think there was some place in Canada or North America that could have built these.
He also closed the emergency rooms in Port Colburne and Fort Erie because there is not enough money.
There have been two deaths since then because by the time they got to St. Catharine's it was too late. But he then awards a hospital in Toronto three million dollars - of course, that was in the riding where there just happens to be a by-election to replace George Smitherman!
He has taken the richest most prosperous province in Canada down to one of the poorest and has created a deficit of TWENTY SEVEN BILLION DOLLARS and he still has a year and a half to go And don't forget his nice little salary increase of $40,000.00 a year - millions of people in the province don't earn even half of that.
Have we forgotten all the MPP'S who also got a 14% increase? And now that they've had their increases he comes out with a new budget to freeze all provincial employees wages for two years - a bit late don't you think.
He increased the hydro tax by 10% in April of 2010.
He has increased the tax on liquor and wine by 10% in May of 2010.

But, Mr. McGuinty will retire with his nice comfortable pension and all his benefits paid. I hope this gets passed around the province of Ontario and everybody remembers the way we got screwed by Mr. McGuinty and the Liberal party and - remember - NOT one Liberal MPP had enough guts to vote against
any of the above.

It can be very painful.

I hired a contractor to build my garage. In my basement one day I noticed a smell of heating oil and one of the pipes was loose. In the dumpster was a siphon hose, gas tank all with the same color dye. He was using my heating oil to power his jcb. Their work was slow but it was good so they got the push. It was a few days later I noticed they had cut some copper from my disconnected ac, even the copper tail that was on my propane tank. What a bunch of losers..

At our kids' preschool, somebody has been doing smash/grab thefts of women's purses from their cars while they're inside dropping off their kids. Broad daylight, a decent neighborhood, and with people constantly coming/going. I can't believe they haven't caught the guy - it's pure tweaker logic for someone to think that he'd even get away with it once.

At a freaking preschool. Some people are just a waste of DNA.

Came home one Friday afternoon to find the back door kicked in. Kid across the hill from me, does drugs a lot. ******* took out TV and hiked back across the hill to his mom's house. Turned the house upside down, surely looking for money to buy more drugs.

He'll have a surprise waiting for him if he tries it again...

rather use fishing hooks...with steel trace...then you get to punish slowly...dont forget to take a sock for the screaming...it also pays to use pain killers it keeps them awake longer.

Someone broke into my house this past weekend and stole all of the existing copper plumbing out of the basement. Did over $3K in damage to get a few bucks in copper scrap.

I'm looking into jobsite storage equipment and just wanted everyone's advice - what's the best product out there? Jobox, Knaack, Greenlee, and Ridgid all appear to have similar chests, piano boxes, workbenches, and cabinets. What sets one apart from the others? Better built has a chest but nothing else. I'm looking specifically at buying a chest (or piano box), workbench, and cabinet...

I don't want to spend a fortune but also don't want to buy a low-quality item. Any recommendations/comments about these brands?

several years ago some naer-do-wells tried to steal the wheels and tires off our full sized jeep wagon while the wife and kids were at teh mall, they apparently were scared off midway through so one wheel and tire fell off coming down a pass in Colorado on their way home, messed up the side of the jeep, broke out all the lugs, fortunately nobody was hurt and wife's sister and husband were following so they were able to get into the nearest town (about 40 miles) and managed to find enough random lugs to get it safely home. Ironically, not but a couple of months later I was taking the kids back to visit grandparents and someone had done the same thing to the same corner in front of my house! Fortunately I noticed the vibration before the wheel fell off.

Recently a colleague who was having a home built had the fireplace stolen out of the house the night it was installed.....

Copper is constantly leaving where I work, in fact three people recently went to prison for stealing over $100K worth in about a years time.

I like but maybe some rat poison on the hooks to encourage the bleed out

Someone keeps stealing our junk dead batteries...which is OK with us. One less thing to deal with.

Now, when they start stealing our scrap wire and beer cans then we've got a problem.

I can't stand thieves! What a disgrace what thieves do.Catalytic converters are another thing thieves love to steal having a cordless sawzall on hand.Transmission shop in my area was a victim of this about a year ago, theieves cut off the catalytic converters on 7 customer's cars.Junk car batteries pay good by the pound and a battery core is $10.00 now and used to be $7.00.

In the late-90s, someone broke into my recently-deceased uncle's house (talk about a downer for an already grieving family...).

After figuring out exactly what was stolen, the robbery gave us all a good laugh: the only thing missing was my uncle's Betamax player. :lol_hitti

I picked up a guy one evening, and as we got under way he talked about picking up strangers and pulled out a knife to rob me. :headscrat I gave him a crazed look and hit the door locks, pedal to the floor and hit 85 - 90 mph before I knew it. I told the guy you never know what type of crazy person will pick you up. I went thru several grassy medians, and back to my lane, before the guy jumped from my speeding car screaming. :lol_hitti

I worked for a up and coming Asian Car maker... The one that has a Northern side that is still in the dark ages.
The most dishonest, and underhand group of people I have ever met....
Oh, and before it sounds like I am a racist.... some of the worst of them were not Asian...
They will steal your Life and your Soul...
