I was on the sears website yesterday, i have no idea how i ran into it, but in the section where they have little message boards and whatnot, i saw something about a contest. So, i found out that the next contest was at noon. I sat there on the webpage hitting refresh until the question came up. The first 25 people to answer the question would receive a 50 dollar gift card! The question was : who are the 6 characters on the hit TV show Friends? EASY! I answered it and submitted it what had to be less than a minute. I got an email about a half hour later saying that I won! I took the letter into my local sears today and bought a few things with it!

Picked up the gearwrench 56 piece ratcheting screwdriver kit, and 2 1/4 craftsman locking extensions. Ive never had a locking extension before, and i think it will really come in handy! Also, the screwdriver kit is really nice, it comes with 2 handles, 4 "extensions", and one of them is a flexible extension! It has a bunch of different bits, and the sockets range from size 4 to 13. Dont remember the SAE size because i dont care.

Pretty sweet to win something on the web and then go get free stuff! The total came out to 52.50 so i only spent 2.50 for the screwdriver kit and 2 extensions! woot! I was hoping they would have the gearwrench ratchets in the store so that I could buy the matco rebuild kit and make my own hybrid ratchet, but they only carried Craftsman and evolve.

What kind of extensions are in the box on the left? They all look the same? Also, how do you think the GW kit compares to your SnapOn and Craftsman ones?

yep, its a stubby metric nutdriver set.

The SO is the smoothest, (but not by much).
The Gearwrench is a nice set...from the t-handle to the reg handle...and all the different shafts. The semi soft handle is nice also. I wish the short shaft was about a inch shorter than it is. Still a great ratcheting driver!
The Craftsman is not as smooth as the SO of course...but the handle fits my hand the best out of all 3!

I think i will be putting this set to use. I have a lot of regular craftsman screwdrivers, but this set includes some very small torx bits that I dont have! I wonder how often ill actually use this.

I couldnt really find anything else at the store to buy since i already have so much. I wish they would have carried gearwrench ratchets in the store so that I could buy a matco guts kit and make a hybrid ratchet.

I couldn't tell you the name of one of the people "the hit TV show Friends". If I had to guess I would say Bob, was there a Bob on the "the hit TV show Friends"?

Congrats on the gift card.

Can one of you give me the part number for the GW ratcheting screwdriver set? I'm looking to purchase a ratcheting screwdriver and this one looks nice. I was also looking at the SK one that has the grip that can be straight or angled.
