My wife saw "frost quake" on the news (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryoseism) so there was some brief paranoia that we might have been sensing that through our solid walls or that we had aggregate exploding in the walls.

During the the warmup, I was right next to a wall that popped as it happened and I'm now 97.89% certain that our pops are the composite wood siding we have around some parts of the house.

Well I finally am getting some where on the house and therefore the garage finally got some finish work done. Wife and I got half veneer plastered, painted, and electrical outlets finished. I am really happy how it turned out


View media item 105024Is it patriotic enough to make a commies face turn red. If you look close I used red hospital grade outlets and faceplates in the red stripe. They really blend in.

The 8500 fit like a glove. Less than a 1/4” behind it.
