Thought they quit coupons?

Haven't ordered anything from them in many years.
Nope. They don’t have the perpetual 20% off and free items anymore.

Yes. They still have coupons. Usually nothing special though.

But they do have 20% and 25% frequently as well, twice already this month.

I need to go check HF out here soon. Maybe Tuesday, I'm off and I know they will be slow early in the day.

Had the Mac equivalent, 3/4" stock flexes far before you think at that length, just a heads up.

It's astounding how force acts on a lever arm of that length.

Guys, if you're worried about warranty, be sure your health insurance is good. If you break a pry bar like this, it's going to be an exciting day.

My Mayhew handle is falling apart, but the bar itself is great.

I bought the same MAC 58" bar after an injury. But I only used it once before leaving CAT and no longer needed it.

Anyway... I'm surprised it would flex to an easily noticeable amount. I don't remember it flexing, but I only used it to help align a pin on a boom lift.

Use a coupon and get it for $75. That’s a lot of prybar for $75.

It's a good deal if you need a bar that size... The MAC bar I got was $125 on sale. I haven't seen the HF bar yet, but I've owned Mayhew bars in the past and they were built well.

This thread sends me back to the Zoro deal when they sold a 5’x1” pry bar for something like $9.00 and free shipping. I ordered thinking it would surely be cancelled, but low and behold, I received it! Works great for moving boulders around the yard and breaking up hard pan. No handle, and probably not too practical for automotive use, but probably could if needed. Thing weighs a ton, and I can’t believe Zoro shipped free! They had to have lost a lot money on that deal!

I bet everyone has prybar envy.

In the heart of Zimbabwe's wild savannah, I found myself face to face with a menacing Cape buffalo. Its eyes locked onto me, and fear surged through my veins. In that perilous moment, I clung to my trusty Cornwell Tools 72" pry bar, "The BEAST." With unwavering resolve, I raised it high, a symbol of my defiance.

The buffalo charged with thunderous force, but "The BEAST" stood as my shield. Its unyielding steel met the buffalo's horn, deflecting the deadly blow. With sheer determination, I fended off the beast, and as the dust settled, I stood victorious, grateful for the mighty tool that had saved me on this unforgettable safari adventure.

Jokes aside... that's a cool looking prybar.

Sounds like the bar I picked up at my resale tool store, got one like that for $8.

That ICON punch and chisel set is definitely a good deal, especially when it goes on sale. As far as I know, Mayhew only ran s2 steel on their 150 line, which is almost impossible to find now and these are advertising it. While I only have just started using some s2 chisels and punches (proto), I can already say that they definitely hold up better than other steels.

In a similar vein, Tove makes a 36” Prybar with a chisel end and a nail pulling end. Both are ground to a thin edge.

I’ve lifted a German made lathe with it. Heck of a prybar. They’re made to fail by deformation of the handle rather than by shattering.

Burke makes a 56” long bar with a similar thin chisel end.

The Cornwell and long Mayhew prybars are too thin for the length. Good way to hurt yourself or someone else with all that stored energy when it slips. Unfortunately I bought one as the dealer said it was thicker than it actually was.
