The release gears on my trusty (2 ton?) floor jack are worn and have started to slip. The gears that connect the handle to the release valve.
I'm sure I knew the brand name at one time. I bought it used in the mid 80s and figure it is about 1980 vintage. The tag on the lift arm is long gone and I don't readily see any identifying marks on it. It's a heavy, well made jack and I doubt that I could afford anything of comparable quality today. I'd really like to fix it.
Any hints on how to identify the manufacturer? Any styling/construction cues to look for? It's orange and white, if that helps.

The metal on mine seems thicker, though. Maybe because it's ~30 years older.
