ID Challenge for you old car geeks

Recently my grandfather managed to track down a photo for me of my great grandfather and the car that he built in the 20's.

This picture was taken in 1926 and I'm trying to find out if anyone knows anything about the car(s) that may have been used to make this. Unfortunately this is the only photo I have, I was really hoping to be able to get a shot of the grill, but so far no luck.
