Hi all
I found an old Walker 4 ton floor jack in a junkyard, outside under a pile of ****. At this point I only have this picture because it's still in the minivan and the minivan is in for repairs.
I notice that it's not as "Art Deco" as most I have seen. Is it a newer model or export?
Are the parts still available for rebuild?
I'll get more pics Thursday

Mine is identical to this one:

Thanks a lot!!!

Yes.. Parts are still available, Its a USA model. Are you sure its a 4ton? They made a 2 ton that was a bit smaller. The Front rollers look Rough.. I would do some inspecting before you go buying a kit. If you find you need a kit, Lemme know i can assist you.

Thanks Hiball...I'll haul it over to the wand wash and get the big hunks off and then roll it over and see what shape it's in.

On the cover for the cylinder it has "WALKER 4 TON" stamped in it and it is very long and heavy. The cover looks like it belongs but who knows. The ID sticker is damaged to the point of unreadable but I'll post a pic anyway

I think I'll do a kit just so I know where I'm at because it will get used.

We have a great place here called CasterLand and I'll bet they have a suitable replacement for the front rollers. I'll keep the originals and keep an eye out for NOS or good originals.
I'll post more pics wen I get the thing home.
Thomas's restoration of his Walker has me chompin' at the bit to get at this ol girl!

(no, I don't have a life!! LOL)
