For $25, if its for your own personal use, he's right in line with price. It did come from far, far away..

Unless you have to have the rotating body and you're not in a huge rush, I'd hold out for an old Parker, Reed, etc. They're just much better made and can be found for about the same money.

They bought one like it at work, China made. In a year it has been destroyed. They are very hard on everything at work but it did not last near as long as it should. I would pass and wait for a better vise.

They sell them at Home Depot for like $80 also. Besides do you really want to drive to Falkansas from the springs for a Chinese Vise? I'd say $25 is fair but I'd offer $20 and see if He will meet you closer to town.

I am in no hurry to lay my hands on a vise. This one is unique (to me) in that it both swivels and pivots. Thanx for all the input -- I can wait.
