Hey, guys. Hope you're all staying warm in this storm. I just found this box on Facebook marketplace and I am falling in love with it's weirdness. Never seen wheel wells on a rolling tool box before. Any ideas on the maker? Seems like a 70's/80's box.

The millwrights in a couple of paper mills I’ve worked in used boxes like that. I have the best memories of them from a mill in southwestern Ohio during the summer of 1978.

Not too bad. If its cheap I'd go for it. Make sure you can put a middle and top box on there. Some aren't a standard size.

I am guessing the black sheet metal panels on the end are meant to support some kid of hangar system for shelves, can baskets, creepers, etc. If you could find those, cool, otherwise its off to the fabrication shop!

I'm guessing - Waterloo of some kind?
To me it looks like they could also be small/pocket drawers that open just a little bit; via a hinge on the bottom of the drawer face. I think I can see some possible drawer contents in the second-to-last picture.

Yeah, I wasn't too sure about that - *could* be like storage for crescents or somesuch... they look WAY too small and skinny for spray cans or bottles.
Either way, if the price is right... I can deal with the orange color... well versed in annual maintenance of Waterloo/Craftsman slider boxes (spring projects).... Ihad even found a source a few years back for the spring "mouseclips" that hld the sliders and drawers in. They're not Epiqs, but they do the job.
