Hello guys, I have found something I need some help identifying. I am guessing this is some kind of vise. There are zero markings. Definitely a speciality devise? Found this today at a yard sale for $2. So don't be afraid to hurt my feelings. Any idea what it was made to hold, the manufacture and the vintage? Thank you for any help you can give me.

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. Bill300d guessed it as a saw blade sharpening vise. I only had seen the vises for handsaws. I got to thinking about it and this is a vise for sharpening circular saw blades. I tried it and it works. The problem with sharpening circular saw blades is how to hold the blade. Putting one in a normal bench vise has to be done with the vise jaws very loose so as to not alter the set of the teeth. This allows a tight hold without the teeth coming into contact with the jaws. Thanks Bill.
