I recently acquired a toolbox with tools that belonged to my mom's father. When I finish clean up and repairs I will show them here. These are 20s to 40s tools I guess but, this device was included. I don't think it belongs in the set (looks too new). The rusty looking loose piece has a cross hatch pattern like a file (for gripping something?). Any ideas? Thanks for your time!
