Looked them up. Seems right. Took him down to the creek dnd set free. Thought about leaving him in the cabin as a ratter but got overruled.

Yep, King snake. Good to have around for pests, but can certainly scare the **** out of you from time to time.

Funny thing, I walked back into my property last night Paying careful attention to the road because that’s when they like to come out and warm themselves on the gravel. Came in to my dark cabin in one of my dark stairs to hatch in the floor and there he was staring me right in the face. Exciting for both of us.

Those are the only ones I've seen in about 10 years...

Generally they don't present any problems.
