ID these pliers

sprung loaded, made by knipex and obviously made for a specific purpose....but what???

i found these a while ago and has puzzled me for a long time

They are Scotchlock crimping pliers.

Scotch lock connections are a small connector that pierces wire insulation to make a termination between two wires.

ahhh.......scotch locks ..spawn of the devil. i occasionaly use these so im gonna keep em, Thanks for that
