ID this craftsman box?

anyone know about this box in the pictures? is it a ball bearing one or friction slides? anyone know what the weight ratings are for these drawers? i can't seem to find it on sears.com so i'm guessing an older model...

Top box looks like a similar one I have, but no longer use. I'm at work so I can't check for a part number now. Mine is about 10-15 years old and has friction slides, not BB. It's an ok box, but I replaced it with a 1980's S/O 537 from C/L.

asking price is $300. man, i was hoping for BB slides...

The bottom might be BB, but the box is normally marked as. Top box is friction slides no doubt. Those boxes look to date to mid 90's. BB where only on higher grade boxes and where marked with ball bearing on the craftsman tag. Those are pretty good boxes, still built very well.

Look for a white sticker inside one of the upper drawers.
It is usually on the right.
This will have the model number on it.

i have a top like that in my service truck that i bought somewhere around '98-'00. it's not BB slides. seems it was on clearnave back then for $250

of those 2 top boxes, i'd get the 2nd one, it's 18" deep.

i dont think either is a "screaming deal"

The 9 drawer roller cabinet looks like mine. The model # is 706.657480. Got mine in the late 1980's. Friction slides but a great box.

Out of the two u posted I would get the second one. The others are right though, neither is a stellar price. It's a fair price though. If the one that claims to be BB actually is, I would definitely pick it up.

I have the roller of the box in the opening post. I got it new in 1994. Friction slides, and a pretty well built box.

I wouldn't pay more than $200-225 for the combo.
