Can anyone ID this Craftsman roller and top box?
I'm thinking early 70's as my dad had one growing up although HE had only the top box and a middle box.....
I don't believe these are ball bearing? sliders.... but they all work good (for my use)
I like the patina... the gray/grey overspray and drippings seem to be coming off easy with an acetone rag....
other than that, I'm just gonna clean it up and fill it up.
It's going in the basement .... so the wife don't have to bother me for a screw driver or a hammer.....
"if I had a hammer.... I'd hammer in the morning ... I'd hammer in the evening .... I'd hammer all over this land"
thanks for any info....
PS,
I almost used that 4th O july 20% off HF
but it still woulda been prolly 5 hundy.... and it would still be Chinese and have no soul.
This box is classic. I'm sure I will drink a beer and stare at it from time to time...... just like I do with my old motorcycles....
Remembering yesteryear.......
