Those round tube Craftsman lathes are held in low regard LOL.

Now that stand uses two bench grinder pads on the top, I would get it if price was reasonable and use it with two Craftsman block grinders!

The top plates are not grinder top plates(unless someone changed them), they are made specifically for the 6" jointer and the poles are too low so you would need to get new longer poles too. I had that two pole stand under my table saw when you came by. If you really want it, I will hold it for you next time you come by or I get up that way. I was planning on selling it or parting it out(the base not saw) since I have the table saw pole base now.

Take a good look at the plates, they are the grinder plates. The lathe stand is not the same as the jointer stand. I don't know about the height though. They look taller for the lathe stand though.
