I picked this up today at the restore for, you guessed it, $10. Any info on a model number or year of manufacture?

That is a Craftsman 5191

I bet the jaws are 4 inches wide.

The model number is stamped onto the face of the nose. It should show as Model No. 5191.
I posted a pic of the stamping on this 5191 from my collection.

Here is a pic from a sears catalog.
Yours was probably made in the late ‘40s to the early ‘50s
Date markings are on the top of the slide and visible when the jaws are completely closed.

p.s.........I agree that for $10 you ****!

You are correct, sir. 05191 stamped into the end of the nose. Yours sure looks a lot nicer than this one...
