Could be a trochar. Some spell it 'trocar.' Better be suited-up (full PPE) when that knob on the end is pulled-out by the surgeon when it's used on a trauma call.

Thank you for the thoughts. It does not have the power of a center punch tho. If it were used on metal it whould wrek the point.

Yea it has 5 clicks of tension. It almost looks like a scribe of some sort. I got it out of a old toolbox.
