The inventor of the electric low profile sander is Air Vantage. For a very long time Air Vantage made all of the electric low profile sanders for Mirka, 3M, Surfpro (still do) and a lot of other people, like maybe 20 different brands. All of these have their own corporate color schemes and I don't know who orange is but that certainly looks like an Air Vantage. The original version of the Air Vantage, which I prefer, was a two piece unit, a power supply and the sander which was almost identical in size to Air Vantage's air sanders. They then introduced the all in one which I like less as the balance is not as good. Look up Air Vantage tools and you'll see the resemblance.
Since then Festool, and possibly Mirka, have designed their own sanders of a similar profile.
