I'm fairly certain it is a Hazet cart

Here is a good drool thread

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=165636&showall=1

Not only is the seller incorrect on the maker, it is overpriced and I'm fairly certain he is violating the terms of ebay. :dunno: Sounds like a real dishonest scumbag to deal with.

This is all original snap on brand tool caddy that collapses into itself, making it much shorter and easy to store. It has been used daily until now. Again, the best thing about this is that all the parts are in place, even the thick rubber mat for the top, and it is 100% original. This tool caddy will NOT be sold to a highest bidder; I will decide to sell or not to sell. Thank you.

Nice, "will NOT be sold to the highest bidder". We'll see what Ebay thinks about that. Pretty sure I've seen these before, and they weren't Snap On.

yeah, that's a delusional asking price. He will definitely have that to keep outside after the auction ends without a single bid.

I believe a guy on here was asking less for ones that were near mint awhile back. The German car enthusiasts do love them.

I sent the guy a message last night and got a polite response thanking me for the info. Buttt.. looking today I can see he hasn't changed a thing on the auction. It's still a "Snap On" caddy that he might or might not feel like selling. :dunno:

Just sent e-bay a report about the listing. Auctions like this just burn me

I wonder if evil-bay will take it off?

I highly doubt evilbay will do a thing about it. They would love someone to buy it and get the final value fees as well as the paypal fees.

To me, the original auction aspect of ebay is a fraction of its sales. They are trying to compete with Amazon looking for people or companies with ALOT of product to move so they can get in on that money train thus the ever so popular "buy-it-now" feature we see on 85% of ebay auctions. Us small timers selling a few items a month are a burden to ebay. They have made the selling standards so ridiculous that a couple of negative feedbacks from some as$holes will send you on the "no sell" list.

It's sad because it was us small timers that made the company what it is today. It's like a metaphor for modern America.

it "looks" like a proper Hazet ,but the picture is not very clear and I can't make out if says Hazet on the side , the colour is right , the copy ones are a deeper blue, the copy ones also have a different design slide/tube on the trays . it also has the owner tag on the end. very easy to clean up and have a nice box , the tray chains are still availible too
daft listing price though , did it sell for $290 in the end ?
