Looks like an older Ingersol Rand impact wrench...i suspect its a 3/8" drive, but can't tell for sure from the pic.

Yeah, It's 3/8 drive, I'm just curious about it's age, what it's worth and if it's a throwaway or a keeper

That's way way old. It looks like a very old version of the 2902P. The 2902p has the extra piece at the bottom of the handle where the 1702p didn't. Your's has that piece. As far as value,I have never sold even the newer version for much. If I sand and polish, detail around the IR logo and paint the hammer cover with bedliner and make them beautiful, about 60 bucks is what I've sold them for. I haven't seen any real old stuff go for much.But for 5 bucks,you got a deal. They're great wrenches.

That's an old 1702P it looks like. I'm not up on the ancient ones. All three are the same on the inside, the 1702P, the 2902P and the 212, as far as rotors, cylinders, hammers, etc. ( at least the newer versions like we see all the time) The P means pin style anvil.
