Anyone here have an idea of the maker of this workbench? I can pick it up for a few hundred but that seems a bit high...it's less than 1 mile form my house.

Cool old bench but it’s a long way from looking good or maybe even looking useable, But I can say you’d be getting a great vise out of the deal. That’s a Reed 103 1/2 with the the modern adjustable split nut in front. If you don’t need a nice vise, you can get at least $100 for it.

Looks like an old dealership workbench. Pretty heavy duty. Needs a little fixing up but probably worth 200 with the vise.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I looked to see where OP was located to see if ti was close to me....

I think the bench is pretty cool and would be an awesome restoration project....vise is a bonus. Honestly glad its 2k miles away because I don't need another project right now!

I don't know about the OEM, but it was obviously made for Lincoln.

You ain't the only one! Ashamed? Of what? That thing would be a major score! That is an awesome bench. It looks like the Lincoln version of the Alemite workstations. They were competitors. The Alemites are very popular, and no offense to the Alemite guys (talking about you, Sonny!), but that Lincoln is cooler in my opinion. The bumpout sign at the top takes it a whole 'nother level. It's like built-in signage, and signage is through the roof right now.

That is absolutely a Lincoln and if you pass that up for a few hundred bucks there will be a line a mile long behind you to take advantage of your mistake of leaving it behind.

Go to the bottom of the page using the attached URL link below and you'll get a look at the image that I have attached. This site doesn't like attachments sometimes.

Lincoln Service Bench

Lugz doesn't realize that my illness stretches across all merchandisers and this one would be welcome right next to the Alemite. Of course there is that small matter of getting it past Mrs. Horsey...

I would, without hesitation, drive to CT to grab that bench. I'm waiting for the OP to tell me that he doesn't want it before I scalp the item. lol :)

Totally worth grabbing.

1958+ Service Desk with factory testing gear to work on Lincoln lubrication equipment.

The wider, triangular, Lincoln St. Louis logo wasn't used until late 1958.

That’s a cool piece.

I believe the red one in Sonny’s link might have been one (or is very similar to one) that was for sale on another site a year or two ago. At that time I think it was priced around $700 and was sitting for sale for a while.

It’s definitely neat. I guess I never looked at it closely enough to realize it was for servicing their own equipment. I saw the pressure gauge and assumed it was some kind of bench for rebuilding automatic transmissions.

Hope someone here can grab it.

I'm in if it were available. And I'd find away to get it moved to the west coast for sure. One of you east coasters call me if the fighting gets to rough lol.
