Idea for pull down staircase or man/cargo elevator

I'm trying to replace a 100yr old sliding ladder and looked like the Bessler model 20 would fit. I called the # on the Bessler site and they said they stopped making the sliding stairs about 3-4 years ago. American Stairways now handles those calls and they only supply a folding ladder. Do you have a supplier for a sliding ladder?

I don't. Apparently we just managed to buy one before they apparently discontinued these models during the pandemic. I would suggest having parts made as needed to repair your existing stair; these types of stairs have apparently lost favor.

Thanks and lucky you! I guess it was wishful thinking on my part. I am repurposing the old ladder in a cabin, it was heavy a little scary when sliding down. I may have to go to a folding...
