Start by saying that I was refered here from Teamzx2.com after posting about some work I want to do with the garage of the house the wife and I just bought...
Here goes:
The wife and I bought a house (in Louisiana) with a detached garage at the back of the property, so it will probably never be used for EVERYDAY in and out parking, but more so for leaving the Bel Air and ZX2 while they are being worked on and storage of all the tools and such.
Looking from the road to the driveway
Just inside the gate:
Heading down the hill:
and again (this is the path of the driveway once I remove the trees):
looking back up:
fence will come down and opening will be where the double doors are:
another view:
Back of the garage:
opposite side as the garage door:
Front (Gum Tree and Fig Tree will come down):
Front View from the inside:
Front View and Garage Doors:
Garage doors to the left, back door to the right:
Back door side:
Looking from the garage doors:
Once Again from the Garage Doors viewing the front corner:
Lighting and Ceiling:
And Again:
And Again:
Cement Ground:
And Again:
I want to go with a craftsman red and black theme. The cement ground will probably get epoxied, most of the interrior will be pulled down and redone, the outside will be sanded and painted. Hopefully, the window that is sealed will be replaced, the wiring and lighting will all be redone...that's about all I can think about for now.
I am open to any suggestions or help that ANYONE can offer.
Debating:
Epoxy the floor or no?
Drywall or plywood walls?
Double doors or garage door?
color theme?
heck, everything is debatable right now...lol
Thanks for any help guys. I'm off to look at more pictures and articles to see what everyone else has done.
