I know this is way from a garage problem, but houseboat people don't seem to care much about insulation so I found myself here.
I need to try to create temporary insulation to lay on the un insulated fiberglass flat roof of a houseboat our son lives in. The Prodex product looked like a good candidate until I thought about it, and just intuitively you can see it can't do what it claims. Ideally, the insulation would lie on top of the roof like a big blanket, perhaps held in place by duct tape, be rodent proof, removable and re-useable. The houseboat is docked under a roof at a roofed marina. I was impressed by the post by Leap91 in 2012 and I'm hopping to get any workable ideas.
In a way, I guess this is a garage problem because it'll end up stored there come spring.
Thanks
