Hello guys,
I have a almost new cat carrier, and on Sunday we rescued a Umbrella Cockatoo bird. Their jaw muscles are very strong, around 1,250 lbs.
He bent and broke the latch, so it's unusable. There's four round holes where the rods went through top to bottom. I thought about get a aluminum/steel rod to slide through all the holes then at the very top and bottom I could drill holes through rod and use some kind clip,....to lock the door. I won't used it for my bird anymore. lol just our cats, so we don't need to over engineer this system, but, I don't want it to be a pain in the *** to use, if so, I'll though it in the garbage.
Something that is strong, yet simple.
