OP... dont worry about double threading... **** happens. That is a cool tool. They answered clock repair tool... nice. Think it could be used by a machinist as a reference tool on other things...

Agree with the clock tool. When I 1st saw it though I thought it looked like an alternative to transfer screws but that wouldn't work because you'd have to flip it to mark the other piece. It could only be used to transfer marks to a gasket or a thin plate that could be driller all the way through. So yeah, the clock tool fits.

No problem, I wanted you to see all of your answers. We all know how sometimes software likes to glitch...
Interestingly, I was just working on my grandfather clock and I could see how that tool would come in handy on a major refurbishment!
