Picked up these two impact wrenches and can not find anything online to help me identify the large ¾ drive.
I figured I would also ask about the ½ inch pistol grip while I was at it. I'm not sure how vintage it actually is though lol.

1/2 inch looks like a CP749 made within the last 20 years. Don't know on the larger gun
Thank you.... I'd love to ID the larger gun because it's missing the trigger components between air inlet and bottom of trigger. Everything that should be between actual trigger itself and air line. Connect air to the gun and it just runs wide open on it's own as is. I'd really like to be able to purchase parts needed to repair it, that's the main reason for trying to find out info on it.... I've searched what I can read of serial number and size number that's stamped on it and haven't found anything other than someone selling another gun like it on the Bay.

Oh... And I was pretty certain the ½ inch wasn't all that vintage or very old at all. Just threw it in the post last second hoping maybe someone would throw info about it in with info on the ¾ drive. I'm actually glad it's not real old because I actually bought it specifically for taking wheels off my vehicles. I no longer had a ½ inch pnuematic, one I had bit the dust and want really worth repairing in my mind. An electric corded DeWalt was actually my only ½ inch impact I had left. Everything else was ⅜ or battery bit driver impacts. Although I do have a ⅜ IR air impact that has broke loose lugnuts on my Silverado, just took longer than it should and definitely longer than the gun liked, 😂

I used one like the 1/2” drive impact below from around 1976 to 1982. I was surprised to see that this one was made in the UK. For some reason I expected it to maybe be made in Chicago.😳 The drill was a garage sale find and it’s made in Japan. Any idea where or how I would go about getting correct parts, or rather parts that would just function properly, to repair trigger? It's missing the parts that would be between air inlet and the physical trigger you'd be pushing with your hand..... For the ¾ drive btw

Unfortunately I think the only way to get parts would be to buy another one.
Well that's unfortunate... Surely I can make them then. Just a spring, ball, and some type of plunger I'm sure. Couldn't be much more to it

I also have one of those CP-734 impacts
Mine is a 80's era unit -Made in Japan

It was fairly wimpy, so I tossed to the bottom of the tool drawer and bought an IR to take it's place

I have a ⅜ IR in the tool box that has actually taken lug nuts off my 4x4 Silverado before. Those IR are good units... Mine is little older than that one I guess, it don't have any color on it.

Yeah they are! (y)
Tough units. Mine has never let me down.
I used to see IR's at many Tire Shops which is why I bought mine
Able to grunt lug nuts off everything that I have ever fed it

Your 3/8 drive IR can beat the pants off that weak Chicago Pneumatic of mine.
That wimpy thing often struggled -I had to make sure that my compressor was pumped up to the top
And sometimes it still pooped out
