Hey guys just bought two snappy ratchets and need help Identifying them!

the 3/8ths looks like it says ff-70m? and the 1/4 doesn't say made in the USA so is it a dual 80?

none of them are the dual 80....
They are old......

I dont think that top one is that old judging by the Snappy emblem. What does it say in the middle around the double band, There should be some sort of model number there i would think.

No dual 80 series ratchets have cover plate screws on top. They're on the underside. It looks like an industrial finish 30 tooth model to me.

Are you guys looking at a picture or a link? I can't see it? :headscrat

Nevermind, now I can see them. I had to reload the page 3 times.

1/4" = GTM830 30 tooth. Probably 1994ish to 2003ish.

3/8" = PF 70 M probably 20 tooth. Does this ratchet have a pinned anvil? It's possible it is one of the later Ferret ratchets Snap-on reintroduced in 1958 as a lower cost tool as oppossed to the F-71 C ( these had the "snap-on" style handle we're all familier with).

The date code for the GTM830 is between the ON/OFF. I can't read it or I'd tell you what year it is. The PF-70 M could have the date code in the same place OR on the underside of the coverplate. There may also be a date code hiding somewhere else......if it has one.
