Good Day Folks,

Thank you for letting me into the club. We recently found this anvil in my late uncle's garage and cannot find any information on the piece online.

Anyone have any ideas as to the manufacturer? Year Made? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is silver and apparently once painted, 12" in length and 2 3/4" across its striking base. Is this cast iron? Steel?

Thank You.

Sincerely,

The Third Act

A chunk of railroad track is always handy to have around. Yours has the extended horn and heel, which gives it some usefulness that a straight cut chunk doesn't have. Find an unused back corner of the workbench or shelf, not far from your vise, when you need to bang on something.
