Brought home a large box today.Roughly 60"x28"x32".No id markings that I could find.Definitely a heavy duty industrial tool box. Vidmar,or lyon,or some other similar type of box? What do you think it is worth?Haven't decided to keep it or not.I need a larger tool box,but maybe not this big..

This a total long shot because I have never seen one to prove my idea. I think it is a Kennedy. There is a little scribbling in the conner I can't read that is right where Kennedy would print their name. Also the box looks to not be a roller from factory, but rather somebody added casters to the skids. Maybe it was a cabnet out a factory which would be up Kennedy's alley. The drawer pulls are of the style too. What are the drawer slides like? Are they like a normal tool box or more like a Lista or a Vidmar, this info may help figure out what this is.

Yes,the casters were added. It was originally on skids.I also got to thinking maybe Kennedy after seeing some last night.Definitetly some sort of industrial setting box.I will have to look at the slides, but they seem pretty stout and heavy duty that I rememeber.Doesn't have any detents to hold the drawers when not locked.Worth $300?

Yes, if it turns out to be a Lista, Vidmar, Kennedy or Lisle.

No, if it's just a generic industrial box.

Maybe, look it over carefully. There's usually some identifying mark somewhere.

What I was wondering about the slides, Lista or Vidmar use a style that is like a filing cabnet on steroids while if a Kennedy I would be more incline to think they would be normal ball bearing slides.

Here is a picture of the slides, like I said, pretty beefy and not ball bearing.I stood up in the drawers and it didn't think of giving any.

The inside of the drawers are about 25.25" deep by 55" wide.Any recommendations for drawer liners? Not even specifically a traditional drawer liner, but any kind of thin matting I can lay inside?

I would use indoor/outdoor carpeting- they have it at home depot in a gray that would go with your box. 5 feet would do you whole box (6ft wide).
