Identify this car lift!

I am searching for my first car lift for my 38' x 35' x 14' open ceiling shop.. I want something reliable and time tested, aka name brand.. I ran across this lift while searching craig$list..

The owner said he had ran across it "on a job" and picked it up. He said he had a spec sheet and ran some numbers off to me..but seemed reluctant to answer my main question: What Make and Model is it? He said it's blue and yellow like a rotary lift but didn't know what kind. I told him to get back to me when he got that info..

He said it requires 12' of height and 4" of concrete blah blah..but said its extra wide with drive thru width of up to 9'. It's 11,000 lb capacity with overall height of 136" and is 220v with a 2.0 hp motor and 0.25" steel columns.

Shouldn't there be a manufacturer data sheet on one of the columns?

I know it's hard to indentify anything still packaged up and no manual etc..Does it seem like a good deal?

Should a lift like this come with 2.5+ hp motor, or is 2.0 okay?

If it's a non-branded lift, $2150 isn't really a good deal anyway. That will also have no warranty or tech support from the seller.

You can get a new bendpak xpr-10c for $2680 with free shipping, warranty, tech support, and a place to get replacement parts.

I'd keep looking.

working under a lift setup right and vehicle on the lift correctly is scary at times. .

do you realy wana trust a china nockoff no name lift to pick up your ride ?

i have used rotory in the shop i use to wrok in for over 10+ years. that looks like a rotory only by color. the design when you look at it is not close to any i have seen .

and the few new ones we got 2-3 years ago come with stickers on them already.

LOL, that could be Rotary, Danmar, Bendpak or at least a couple other imports. That's not far from saying I'm selling a truck, don't know who makes it but it's white w some chrome trim.

Anyhow, I have found a used Atlas lift that appears to be in great shape..What do you think about this lift?? I am going to be working on lifted 4x4 vehicles so the extra width and capacity is a must..

I've seen alot of people be happy with Atlas and GregSmithEquipment.

I've never delt with either one, except I emailed them once to ask how much something weighed and how much adjustment the 'adjusters' had, and did I get an email back quickly, but it just said "I don't know, but it is in stock and ready to ship if you would like to purchase.."

How much is the used one you found? The link shows it is only $2195 new with a warranty.
