Identify this lift?

Can anyone help identify this lift? A friend bought this garage is needs this out, and I've been shopping for a hobby/storage lift. This is probably overkill, and I would have preferred one that didn't require drilling into my floor, but if this is a decent lift and the price is right... I'm willing to consider all options!
Thanks in advance, friends!

Sorry no help, but if you end up getting it, make sure you can get parts. It looks pretty old.

I assume it’s cable operated, inspect the cables like your life depends on it. Old locking mechanisms tend to fail.

Thanks! As you suggested, I'm hoping to confirm that parts are indeed available, but it's hard to do w/o knowing who made the darned thing. It appears to have been painted a few times, so it's a bit of a mystery. I'll definitely look any cables over very carefully though!

It does indeed, but it’s just the hydraulic pump manufacturer info it seems.

Where are the drive on ramps? Without those, you have a parts lift only. I believe this lift uses a continuous leaf chain that travels from the hydraulic cylinder that is located in the hydraulic power pack column and travels to the other three columns through a channel through out the rack....Reminds me of an old BEN PEASON lift made in the late 70's.....commonly used outside the shop as a lube rack.

The ramps were the very first thing I asked about too! He’s checking around the shop to make sure they’re still there.

Thanks for the input — I’ll see if it might indeed be a Peason.

Is that tall enough to be useful as a storage lift? The car underneath is going to have to be quite short

Thanks everyone -- I'll look at the Pearson lifts. There will be a Triumph TR6 parked below, so height should not be an issue, but I'll measure to be sure.

Update: the drive-on ramps are indeed available. I need to go look at it in person and see if I can figure out what the heck it is... all the BP lifts I am finding info on have the cylinder in a steel housing that runs across two of the posts at the top. This lift doesn't seem to have that, so I'm at a loss. Maybe I can find a data tag under the paint if I look closely!
