DeVilbiss PRLKC6580V2 (Type 0) A 6.5Hp 80G Vs Ol 2Stg 24 Compressor

http://www.ereplacementparts.com/de...2stg-compressor-parts-c-8297_8298_418936.html

So far I have replaced:

Valve Safety 200 .25
Part #: TIA-4200

Pressure Switch
Part #: 5140110-49

Valve Check 1/2NPT X
Part #: A19715

As I was replacing the check valve (unloader valve) I saw another valve on the pipe that goes from one cylinder to another.

I found this but I'm not too sure if this is it but want to double check before I buy a replacement. Pics included.

Valve Safety
Part #: ABP-9049020

Thank you.

Interstage safety valve. To replace it you will need a valve with the same thread, same pressure rating and the same flow rate. If it doesn't leak, leave it. If you want to be sure, remove it carefully, clean any ****, re seal, and just pull the pin when running with a pair of pliers to confirm it lets air escape, and make sure it reseats, then all is ok. The only real way to confirm flow rate is to have it tested on a bench, certified and anti tamper locked.

did more searching and called devilbiss which they couldn't figure it out then called the service center and they said I should replace the 300 dollar intercooler pipe. Looked on service center website and found that that is the correct part number which the old number is obsolete.

http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Products/Detail?isId=true&productNumber=PRLKC6580V2&selectedType=13387#

113 ABP-5962020 INTERCOOLER 1 $318.58 $318.58

113 ABP-9049020 VALVE SAFETY INTERCOOLER 1 $28.14 $28.14

This part replaces obsolete part #: and 5140040-45.

SAFETY VALVE INTERCOOLER 1/4 INCH 65 PSI

thanks for your help.

I think it is a valve that relieves pressure in the charge side of the compressor. So when the compressor starts, there is no air to push back on.

So you got all of the pertinent information that you need - 65psi relief valve with 1/4" NPT thread size. You now can go and get one of those anywhere - it's a generic part used by all compressor manufacturers.
