Can anyone identify this tool. It was found around a boiler at a friends old job. No one knows who's it is or what it was for. Can anyone shed some light on this??????????

Could that tool have been for breaking up clumps of coal like a nutcracker ?

Thanks, It is a Gauge Glass Cutter – Model EFI WC Glass Cutter.

It was also found on a gas boiler system.
