Looks like it recently lost it's tag. Too bad. Anyone recognize it?

I have seen two of them lately at estate sales in red. The first one a guy just grabbed it when I came out to the garage to see it from the photos. A week later another one was in one of the local estate sale photos which said to me they are common and most likely an import. The first one was $35.

To be fair, mine felt to be of decent quality, and I am sure that it will provide years of use to the young man to whom I donated it.

I bought one of those for a marine service shop from Sam's Club and the moveable jaw broke off.

Richmond...duh
I got one recently from a tool snob at a garage sale....He was selling his dads stuff.

I asked about the vice bolted to the bench and he sniffed..".oh that....that is chinese...if you unbolt it $15.00...."

Hey whatever...it is nicer than what I had, cleaned up great and works a treat in my shop.

I think the tags say GMG on it.

I have that vise, it wears an Allied tag and I bought it at HF around 1990. For what it is, it's not a bad vise. I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of it.
