I've seen plenty of the 'Identify this Vise" threads, but this is the first one I'm going to ask for not a Vise, but a Vise-Grip.

The jaws have a round rod on the upper jaw from the factory welded in (nicely done), and the bottom is ground very smooth in a half moon shape. It's all finished so smooth and nice to have me believe they are stock this way.

What would this be used for? For $1, I am always interested in picking up a new tool I don't know the use for yet.

I was wondering about a hose pinch, but figured it was too small for any real use on rubber lines. A pinch on metal lines makes sense.

Now what to use it for...

I don't think so...

I believe that tool came with a handful of exchangeable jaws that slid on the ends...

Can we see a close-up of the jaws?

I have a pair of those. Mine are US made Peterson with the secondary release lever. They are stamped "RR". I use them for pinching off flexible fuel lines on smaller engines mainly. I use the "turtle jaw" style plastic clamps for larger radiator hoses etc.
