A friend is at a auction. He sent me these 2 pictures. Can anyone identify and give approximate value? I newb at this. Thanks in advance for any help.

No I'm looking in trying learn to restore for hobby. But am don't want over pay and its fun learning about them. Sorta addictive lol.

Scout: condition of that one doesn't look too bad from the picture cause surface rust can be easily removed. as far as value you'd have to get us measurement of width of jaws (not how far they open) and weight to maybe give you a better idea. if it's a 4 inch wide vise then $50 would be an ok deal and probably worth more. if it's a 6 inch wide jaw vise then $200 might be an ok deal and value maybe a bit more.

more details and better advice so if you have access to some let us know or have fun.

also BEWARE the vice for vises addiction is real!!

Drivesitfar: thx..my friend gong try get some measurements but not sure he can in time probably going be auction off nexpt lil bit he thinks. But thanks for help and i put.

Yeah what little bit I've rrad on here got my blood going lol.
