Identifying Drill Press Vise Type

Hello all,

I picked up a small drill press vise a while ago at a garage sale with a clamping configuration that I can't find in a store or online. I don't know what to call it while searching Google.

Instead of the lead screw directly driving the jaw, the jaw moves freely and has a flopping lever that drops into a slotted cam on the lead screw. This lets the jaw be moved by hand in seconds and then only a rotation or two of the handle is required to tighten. Besides the usual horizontal/vertical round object notches, the jaws also have flat shelves in the top so you can level a piece of plate but keep the bit from punching through into the vise below.

This is extremely convenient and is currently set up on my slow-speed drill press, but and I would like to buy another for my standard speed press.
  1. What is this style of vise and clamping mechanism called?
  2. There are no markings on this, so I assume it's an Asian import. However, I can't find this style on the internet. When did this style exist?
  3. Are these still sold?

Thanks. That manufacturer (based in India, volume orders only) and a discontinued Wen vise without any notches/grooves in the jaws are the only examples I can find for that style. Looks like it died out and and was replaced by the rotating ball lever clamp style.
