Anyone have recent experiences with smart home devices from iDevices? My sister in law is purchasing a newly built home where some of these devices are being offered as options, such as switches, receptacles, thermostats, etc.
I know this company got off to a rocky start and saw them on clearance tables some years ago. They are now owned by Hubbell, a respectable company in my eyes, and I wonder if the cash infusion has bettered the products. They are all IOT, no hub required, 2.4GHz only. Looks like the app is not stellar or receives high marks.
Just want to get a sense here as the house is being built in Utah and I will not be able to help my sister-in-law too easily and she is not a techie.
