I've been sidelined by an injury and while doing nothing, I made this out of wire hanger.... I know, it ***** and it's uneven... but it works! (for a non-pro)

It ***** and is uneven. And I'm going to copy it, and mine will **** and be uneven too. Probably more so. But it will do just what it's supposed to inside of a dark drawer. Thanks for sharing

It's for a drawer.Surprisingly, it doesn't slide when I half slam the drawer.

Wow, thanks for the positive comments! I used needle nose pliers to bend it. That large "outrigger" has to be that size or it falls over...

I would look at furniture beside the road and get the zigzag springs out of a chair or sofa and have a ready made one of those. Heavy gauge wire and already bent. That's what I though he was showing. I didn't realize he had bent it himself.
