can I just install one of these to remove moisture from my lines? I am going to be using a portable compressor that has it's own gauge and regulator.

Thanks,
Tim

as long as you don't need perfectly dry air and oil your air tools each time they are used. Make sure there is at least 20 to 30 feet of line before it to give the air a chance to cool and the water to precipitate out. I use about 50' of line, one of those and a larger one of those. At least once every few days they both fill up. Then I have small local driers on the tools and glass bead machine and they get wet too eventually.

Wow, it might only be 30' to the hose reel! I want to mount it near the compressor. Is there something that will work that way? I do not paint or blast much so totally dry is not a problem. I have not even used one up to this point but wanted to put one in with the new air lines and reel.

Thanks,
Tim
