If that was only two states away, I'd be struggling not to take a drive. Someone will get a heck of a deal.

The one on eBay is the real deal. 1ststatetools is a very reputable seller, and I deal with them a ton. We buy and trade. Someone has copied the ad and placed it on CL across the US. The key to any ad that is spam on CL is the vlls;ejfooroherj;erjgtljrg'ot8eu at the bottom of the ads. They are from bots that can not validate the ad so the scammers that use bots write up a code to bypass it. But it shows up on the bottom as random no word combined together alphabet.

LOL!!

I emailed them today (it was listed in Tampa). Damn scam artists!

Hi there

I live in Crosby, ND, I've just moved and the box is here with me.

I want to close this deal through eBay. It will be shipped from Crosby and I'll pay the delivery costs. It will arrive at your address in 3-5 days, then you'll have 5 days for inspection. I'll start the shipping process in the same day with the payment confirmation. eBay will keep the paid amount until you'll receive, inspect and agree with the box. This is their policy regarding this type of transactions.

If you are interested please send me your full name and shipping address and you will have all the details in the invoice.

Thanks!

...Yeah, I'll get right on that!

You know what they say, if it's too good to be true...

Damm it's in Cincy's CL too and for some reason they want $30 more for it here. That's BS!!! ;-)

Saw in Green Bay, thought it was fishy when I saw it listed by a dealer. Anybody who deals in boxes would never list something like that for that price. Now if it was a person and had a real pity story, I maybe would believe it then.

Now watch and see if your email starts getting more spam. Sometimes those guys are just "harvesting" email addresses for the future or for sale on a list of "people interested in buying tools." I usually just respond to ads with telephone numbers for that reason.

The pics are definatly from an ebay ad fro 1statetools. Their price for the box is 5k. I cant find an e-mail address for them to let them know their pics are being used for a scammer. I flagged it as well. I wanted to email them and have some fun

Guys, give up on the box. I bought it and it's being shipped to me once the funds I wired him from my Nigerian bank account are cleared.

It's amazing how many Nigerian grandpa's die with a cool 10 million dollars to pass off. Next one I get I might buy one of the Epiq boxes...
