The SO man had some funny stories to go with the steak knives - like his one customer who couldn't grasp the idea of a set of 6 "Ya only use one knife!?" SO man says "Ya never eat steak with friends, huh?"..... Or the guy who wanted to know why the wrench ends where all the same "What good is 6 of the same wrenches?!" :headscrat

Just for laughs, we checked them against some hardware - they have them idiot-proof by adjusting the 12 points of the box end just so, so that it will NOT engage the head of any bolt as near as we can tell....I'm sure they'd get sued if someone cut themselves trying work and eat steak at the same time....:bounce:

I collect what I happen to come across. I don't buy stuff I already have, though.

I recently got a couple distributor wrenches, old script, probably '80s vintage.

Prior to that I got these, 5/8" drive (means useless lol):

This is in response to the person that stated the Snap-on Knifes SSX2783 are not dishwasher safe.
I have a 13 piece set of shun knives that are made of VG10 stainless steel with a 16 deg blade. if you are not paying attention you can loose the tip of a finger and they cost a pretty penny and are verysharp. They are NOT dishwasher. With knifes that have any quality you hand wash them immediately and dry them immediately to eliminate the chance of rust from forming. by using a dishwasher you are letting water stand on your dishes as it heats up to evaporate the water. if you have worked with any metal at all you know that metal with flash rust just from just being touched. if you want dishwasher safe go to wall-e world and get a set and replace them every 1 1/2 to 2 years. p.s. I own craftsman so not a snap-on supporter.

Yeah, I have some unbelievably sharp Wusthof knives my son brought howe from Germany. They NEVER go in the dishwasher. Quality knives should be wiped and dried, not put in the DW.

I never knew they had those in other colors! That must be a rare one, valuable too.
